2017 Vinland Fair is Over

The Vinland Fair is three days of fun every year. It doesn't happen often

but you can keep track of  the fun when it does.

Sign up to receive these blog posts in your email box. When we revive the blog next July or early August you'll get all the news. Look over in the right hand column (you might have to view this

on a computer rather than a phone) and put your email address in the box.

We'll tell you dates, schedule, menu and weather forecasts.

Saturday is Tractor Pull Day

CANCELLED DUE TO THE RAIN

9 a.m. — Horseshoe pitching
9 a.m. — Antique Tractor Pull weigh-in begins

10 a.m. — Registration for pet parade and box turtle race

11 a.m. — Beef, dairy, sheep, swine and goat entries must be in place. Released at 4 p.m.

11 a.m. — Box turtle race and pet parade
11 a.m. — Tractor Pull

1 p.m. — Livestock judging begins
2 p.m. — Pedal tractor pull official weigh-in
2:30 p.m. — Pedal tractor pull
3:30-4:30 p.m. — All entries released

5 p.m. — Homemade ice cream freezing begins with contest judging and serving

7:30 p.m. — Live music from Whiskey Rich

10 a.m. — Stock bicycle races
Noon — Races & field activities

Includes foot races, sack races, 

Softball throw and tug of war.

7 p.m. — Lawnmower pull from the Big Red Sled Lawnmower Pullers Club.

7:30 p.m. — Live Music from Rural Harmony

Lunch & Dinner on Friday

• Chicken noodle dinner (made by Vinland FCE)
• Barbecued beef sandwich dinner
• Loaded nachos
• Hamburger
• Cheeseburger
• BBQ Sandwich
• Hot Dog
• Veggie Burger
• Nachos
